The Gulfstream GIV Revolutionized Business Travel World-wide
When it first entered the market, the Gulfstream GIV revolutionized business aviation. It featured a pair of cutting-edge Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8 turbofan engines that gave it intercontinental range at exceptional cruising speeds. Unsurprisingly, the GIV set new benchmarks for speed and range within its class soon after it entered the market. Additionally, these power plants consume considerably less fuel and are much quieter than the Roll-Royce Spey engines on the Gulfstream GIII.
