1. Gulfstream G500

The G500 flies 30 knots faster and 18 per cent farther with the same amount of fuel as the G450 and can fly up to 5,000 nautical miles at Mach speed 0.85. 2. Bombardier Global 7000

The Bombardier Global 7000 has just made the skies more comfortable.

The world’s largest, long-range, all-purpose new private jet has just made its debut in the air. With a top speed of Mach 0.925, the Global 7000’s flight deck features the next generation of fly-by-wire technology that blends cutting edge avionics with an aerodynamic design that is said to deliver a comfortable and smooth ride. It is also the first of new private jets to feature not one, but four living spaces and a dedicated crew rest area. 3. Pilatus PC-24

Who said the Swiss only manufacture good cheese, chocolate and tennis players? They also design some impressive new private jets. The Swiss-crafted PC-24 is said to be Pilatus’ most super versatile business jet. It combines the versatility of a turboprop with the cabin size of a medium-light jet. What makes the PC-24 most unique is that it can operate from paved and even unpaved runways as short as 2,690 feet, which allows it to access more than 21,000 airports worldwide.

4. Embraer Phenom 300 E

The salsa dancer of new private jets, the new and improved light jet aircraft, developed by Brazilian company Embraer, was just unveiled at the 2017 National Business Aviation Association conference in Las Vegas. Following on the heels of the successful Phenom 300, the 300E (the E stands for enhanced) has a new cabin design, which allows for more headroom, and can be fully customized. The new private jet also features significant upgrades to its technology panels. Its lighting system and flight information can be accessed by the touch of a button, while passengers can tune into two seven-inch screens that float from the plane’s ceiling with their Bluetooth devices. 5. Cessna Citation Longitude

This new business jet made its first flight in 2012 and has since been revamped to be friendlier to the skies with its new super mid-size,12-passenger design and a more affordable price of $23.9 million. Although the jet has limited fly-by-wire for its rudder, spoilers, and brakes, it does feature a flat-panel touchscreen avionics system (similar to the one in its new midsize Citation Latitude) that has an optional head-up display and enhanced vision systems.
