Another advantage of the new wing placement was that it gave the Jetstream 41 more efficient luggage capacity. It has a storage limit of 170 cubic feet. Additionally, due to the increased distance between the fuselage and the turboprops, the Jetstream 41 is also quieter than its predecessor, even though the engines are substantially bigger.
