The average CEO works about 300 days a year, 14 hours a day. That’s 4,200 hours a year. You may be more or less than that number, but regardless, as an executive, you are working a lot of hours.
The line between work and personal time is not always clear because we spend a lot of our time weighing decisions that need to be made, consuming information to help us determine strategy, communicating with our team, and more.
Research conducted by the London School of Economics divided executives time into four categories: planning, meetings, personal, and travel. By looking at these four categories, you can ask the question: How can I be more efficient in each category?
