We decided at the last minute to escape from Florida as hurricane Irma was bearing down on us, and Stratos came through for us. Despite our first choice airport running out of fuel, they managed to get some at another and we got out with about 1 hour to spare. It was a hectic time, with everyone else scrambling to escape, but Stratos made the whole experience simple and efficient for us. We will definitely fly with them another time, preferable when we're not all stressed about a hurricane aimed right at us!

As business owners know, operations do not cease during a disaster and customers must continue to be served. Stratos Jet Charters booked the aircraft we needed within an hour of reaching out. Mr. <name removed for confidentiality> is extremely upset and disappointed with Stratos Jets as the plane had mechanical problems on take off which delayed the trip by 5 hours. It was his wife's birthday and the entire family had a full day of sightseeing arranged which had to be cancelled. The trip was very costly and he feels he is due back some compensation. As far as I can tell the flight was great. My nephew, his wife and their dog flew from California to Guam for a move. The airport they flew from was changed the day prior to departure due to weather. The catering however didn't make it to the airport so they were on the plane for 15 hours with only the complimentary snacks and the crew shared some of their food with them. When you fly private you expect things to go smoothly...that's why you're willing to pay the extremely high price for. In my opinion there were opportunities missed to make it right. Since they had to refuel in Hawaii there was at least 6 hours to get some kind of catering for them when they landed in Hawaii. I realize that catering needs 24 hours notice but someone couldn't gone above and beyond to make things right and get them fresh fruit and veggie platter with a plain hot pizza or something to give them something other than snacks. I know if the CEO of Stratos was flying this catering issue would've been unacceptable.

Carol - Thank you for bringing this to my attention and you are certainly right.  The ball was dropped.  I have spoken with the private flight advisor regarding the matter and our day of flight process was not followed.  Not having something ready in Hawaii during the fuel-stop is truly a missed opportunity.  I am truly sorry for our misstep and the poor experience this must have been for your nephew and his family.

I worked with Kimberly from Stratos Jet Charters. She was very enthusiastic and helpful. In fact because of her enthusiasm and helpfulness, I chose Stratos over a another company that gave me a slightly lower quote. She answered all my questions and did her best to meet all my requests. The flight was excellent, plane was comfortable and the pilots were very helpful and professional. There was a bit of miscommunication about the hours of customs at my home airport .. and lead to a bit of confusion about the return departure time. Ice for beverages had melted on the first leg, and not all the drinks were stocked according to what was promised. My requests were fulfilled however for the return flight. I'm a coffee drinker, coffee was well stocked, but very little cream available, kinda curdled!!. These are tiny details but better supply of online refreshments would have made the flight perfect!! Beautiful views, no delays, smooth landings, and comfortable seats and lav. Beautiful shiny, clean plane. . the CJ3. Had a great time!

The food provided was delicious, the limo and transportation was perfect, and the entire experience was well worth the money. A special thank you to Pilot Dan!
