What Luxury Private Jets Do Billionaires Use?
Owning an aircraft is out of the question for most private fliers. But for the billionaire, most luxurious private jets are within reach. With a wealth of options from a Boeing Business Jet to the Boeing 747-8 VIP private plane, what is the billionaire luxury private jet of choice?
Here are five of the world’s most influential billionaires and the private aircraft they use.
What Private Jet Do the Kardashians Use?
The Kardashians and Jenners are famous for their lavish lifestyles. Kylie Jenner owns a $73 million Bombardier Global Express complete with the billionaire’s luxury private jet interior, and her older sister Kim Kardashian recently made headlines with her Gulfstream G650ER.
For the celebrity billionaire, a luxury private jet interior brought the value of her plane affectionately dubbed “Kim Air” to an estimated $150 million. Decorated in Kardashian’s signature neutral tones, the jet even features cashmere finishing throughout.

What Private Jet Does Elon Musk Fly?
Elon Musk’s Gulfstream G650ER became famous in recent years after Jack Sweeney, a programmer and aviation enthusiast, created a Twitter account to track the private flights of the Tesla owner.
Sweeney’s flight tracking account was later suspended, but the college student entered the spotlight after declining Musk’s $5,000 offer to take down the tracker.
Now owned by Musk, X, formerly known as Twitter, imposed a delay in sharing publicly available location information. Sweeney now runs the @ElonJetNextDay account that posts 24 hours after Musk’s flights on his G650ER.

What Kind of Private Jet does Jeff Bezos Own?
Like Kardashian and Musk, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos also owns a G650ER. In fact, it’s the second G650ER of the billionaire’s luxury private jet collection.
Powered by twin Rolls-Royce BR725 engines, this popular billionaire luxury private jet is sought after by celebrities, dignitaries and corporations for its impressive maximum distance of 7,500 nautical miles and a lightning-fast top speed of about 700 miles per hour.
What Kind of Private Jet does Warren Buffet Own?
Billionaire investor and Berkshire Hathaway CEO purchased his first jet in 1986 after growing the multinational conglomerate holding company’s value by more than $600 million in one year. He picked up a used Falcon 20, Business Insider reports, which he sold in 1989 and upgraded to a different used jet.
Less than 10 years later, Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway bought NetJets, which now boasts a global fleet of more than 600 aircraft.
Does Mark Zuckerberg Have a Private Jet?
Billionaire Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also owns a Gulfstream G650. According to a report by Simple Flying, Meta spent an estimated $1.6 million on private air travel for Zuckerberg in 2021.
Experience the Billionaire Luxury Private Jet Lifestyle
For most, purchasing a $95 million Gulfstream G650ER and committing more than $60 million in interior renovations is unrealistic. Beyond the initial purchase price, private jet ownership comes with considerable maintenance and operating costs that can range from $500,000 to $1 million per year.
However, there is a way to experience the billionaire private jet lifestyle: on-demand charters. Unlike owning an aircraft or even purchasing a private jet membership, on-demand flights have no upfront costs. Simply fly wherever and whenever you need, and only pay for each flight individually.
