Check out Rattlesnake Raceway to see Northern Nevada’s Motor Contest Association dirt track that is ready to welcome riders of all skill levels. Or check out Northern Nevada’s only quarter-mile NHRA-approved track at Top Gun Raceway. Give driving a try on Fridays at Test and Tunes, where drivers can try out vehicles and time themselves on the strip.
Enjoy a slower (and quieter!) pace as you walk down Maine Street. The tree-lined streets are home to historic brick buildings, one-of-a-kind shops and culinary treats. A focus on local agriculture is demonstrated at the Fallon Food Hub where local farm-fresh vegetables are available as part of an initiative to encourage shopping local, supporting local farmers, and eating seasonally.
Though the lights and excitement of Reno are only 60 miles away, Fallon still has a natural desert landscape. “The Oasis of Nevada” is a short drive to the Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge, an 80,000-acre destination for 250,000 migrating waterfowl.
