The museum showcases the earliest history of the county and an overview of Lehigh County culture. You may also want to swing into the Liberty Bell Museum and check out the replica and hear about the location of the original bell during the Revolutionary War. That location may even surprise you!
For a little outdoor exploring, we recommend visiting all six covered bridges in Lehigh County. You may also want to plan a hike to Bake Oven Knob, which overlooks the valley and provides epic views, especially during the sunrise. There’s also the Trexler Nature Preserve, a 1,100-acre county park. Here you can find fantastic hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails, a few covered bridges, and herds of elk and bison.
