The Serbian capital of Belgrade is the cultural and economic center of the country, as well as one of the largest and most historically significant cities in Europe. Though its economy suffered under international embargoes stemming from the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s and 2000s, Belgrade remained and is the financial hub of the Serbian economy. Every year, tourists flock to the city's historic districts to take in Belgrade's rich, ancient history. The National Museum encompasses a fantastic collection of 400,000 exhibits, including 5,600 paintings from a vast selection of the world's masters. don't miss out on seeing the Miroslav Gospel. This 362-page manuscript created in 1186 is considered to be Serbia's single most culturally significant artifact as it is one of the oldest surviving manuscripts written in Old Church Slavonic. Also be sure to check out Serbia's own White House, known as Beli Dvor (the White Palace), home of the Karadordevic royal family. When night falls in Belgrade, the city is only starting to wake up. Many clubs and bars are open till dawn. Locals and visitors from outlying districts prefer Belgrade's nightlife because of its friendlier atmosphere, cheaper drinks and few language barriers. Whether you're into the alternative clubs of the college district or the more culturally traditional venues found in the urban areas, don't miss out on what The Times calls the best club experience in Europe. We were very disappointed in the catering service. The lobster was undercooked and the sevruga caviar we ordered turned out to be lumpfish. Which we did not eat. We intended to take all the food to our home with the lobster, which we were going to cook to make it suitable to eat, but when we arrived home discovered that our food had not been unloaded from the plane. The only thing we ate on the plane was a small piece of the lobster.

The flight itself was fine. Glenn was in communication with me frequently but shortly before my flight the Tail Number changed to a new plane and I was not given a new itinerary with the correct arrival point. We flew into Modern Aviation but I expected to be a Hawthorne Aviation. My ride was at the wrong location and I had to adjust that myself after landing. She was livid at the lack of notification on the change. It wasn't a pleasant ride home.
