Dortmund is well known for its phenomenal football team. The Borussia Dortmund team is Germany’s second most successful team. Even if sporting events don’t rank very high on your list of things to see, the Signal Iduna Park is well worth the trip. It’s the second largest club stadium in
Europe. But be sure to bring earplugs. With a capacity of more than 80,000 people, the football games are as loud as they are exciting. Since football is such a fan favourite in Dortmund, it’s easy to see why the German Football Museum exists here too. Opened to the public since 2015, this museum displays trophies from The World Cup and European Championship, and plays host to all kinds of memorabilia, quizzes, and interactive exhibits. Perhaps one of the most iconic landmarks in Dortmund is the Florianturm. This television tower hovers over scenic Westfalenpark and stands at roughly 220 meters tall. Here you can take in the Dortmund views while dining at the revolving restaurant. The Museum Ostwall currently features modern and contemporary art, however, when it first opened in 1948, it displayed work that the Nazis had once deemed “degenerate art.” These works included Expressionist and New Objectivity works. Some of the works of famous artists that line the walls include: Picasso, Salvador Dali, Emil Nolde, and Franz Marc. The Alter Markt, Dortmund’s marketplace for almost 900 years, is a hub for socialization and shopping. In the warmer months, an outdoor bar and café seats fill the plaza, and if Borussia Dortmund wins their match, they head to the Alter Markt for a little celebrating. Then there’s Westenhellweg, a shopping haven. This pedestrianized centre features every big retail brand available in Germany. From pre-trip planning to updates via text message on your way to the airport, Stratos had us covered. We made our way from Emirates @ JFK and the FOB transfer was easy. Joel had already updated Julie (my assistant) before we landed that there were long delays out of JFK due to weather. The transfer to FBO was easy and they were expecting us. The plane was comfortable and modern and the crew could not have been kinder. Thank you guys as always for a great trip. Eastern Air Services (crew and plane) were wonderful. Stratos micro obsession with baggage and weights was beyond logical and anything that I had ever experienced in prior charters. Turned out there was PLENTY of room in cargo for additional baggage and that my guests were no where near any weight limitation. The only reason I tolerated the craziness was the price differential. Booking was great, Kyle is wonderful a asset to your company. However the pilots were not. They were not there on time never offered an apology or explained as to why. When questioned they were extremely RUDE. I was told that the Pilots went to eat lunch so they kept myself and family waiting over an hour past wheels up time. I arrived at 12:30 for a 1:00 flight they arrived at 1:30 for a 1:00 flight with BAD attitudes

I worked with Kimberly from Stratos Jet Charters. She was very enthusiastic and helpful. In fact because of her enthusiasm and helpfulness, I chose Stratos over a another company that gave me a slightly lower quote. She answered all my questions and did her best to meet all my requests. The flight was excellent, plane was comfortable and the pilots were very helpful and professional. There was a bit of miscommunication about the hours of customs at my home airport .. and lead to a bit of confusion about the return departure time. Ice for beverages had melted on the first leg, and not all the drinks were stocked according to what was promised. My requests were fulfilled however for the return flight. I'm a coffee drinker, coffee was well stocked, but very little cream available, kinda curdled!!. These are tiny details but better supply of online refreshments would have made the flight perfect!! Beautiful views, no delays, smooth landings, and comfortable seats and lav. Beautiful shiny, clean plane. . the CJ3. Had a great time!
