3. La Belle Municipal Airport (X14) is another popular destination for private fliers visiting southwest Florida. The original Fort Myers was built along the Caloosahatchee River as a base during the Seminole Indian Wars and was named after Col. Abraham C. Myers. Abandoned in 1858, the fort was later taken over by federal troops during the Civil War. Although the fort is now gone, you can still see history come to life when the battle of Fort Myers between southern and northern troops is reenacted every year at the North Fort Myers Cracker Festival. Fort Myers is also recognized for one of its most famous residents, inventor Thomas Edison, who set up a laboratory in town and was recognized as a strong force in the city’s development, including the many palm trees that now line Fort Myers’ downtown streets. Visitors can visit Edison’s Seminole Lodge, which is located next to Henry Ford’s winter estate, to see his many inventions, flora and fauna experiments, and research papers on display. The winter estates of Thomas Edison (Seminole Lodge) and Henry Ford (The Mangoes) are major attractions for those visiting Fort Myers. Visitors can take a tour of the historical buildings and botanical gardens, and visit the museum with its many inventions, artifacts, and special exhibits. The Imaginarium Hand’s On Museum and Aquarium is a great place to take the kids to see the interactive exhibits, including a hurricane simulator. Our commercial flight was being delayed out of Asheville and there were no other flights that day or the next day. Finally at 8 o’clock at night we called Simon to see if he could come and pick us up. By 1030 we were on the plane and on our way home. It was amazing. Simon is, incredibly efficient and thoughtful. Great experience.

Booking was great, Kyle is wonderful a asset to your company. However the pilots were not. They were not there on time never offered an apology or explained as to why. When questioned they were extremely RUDE. I was told that the Pilots went to eat lunch so they kept myself and family waiting over an hour past wheels up time. I arrived at 12:30 for a 1:00 flight they arrived at 1:30 for a 1:00 flight with BAD attitudes

Service and attention was excellant. Little disapointed in the interior room. Very cramped.It would be OK for a very short flight but longer than 1 hour would need more interior room with adquate bathroom facitlies.

Eastern Air Services (crew and plane) were wonderful. Stratos micro obsession with baggage and weights was beyond logical and anything that I had ever experienced in prior charters. Turned out there was PLENTY of room in cargo for additional baggage and that my guests were no where near any weight limitation. The only reason I tolerated the craziness was the price differential. Next time, if they are not the best price I am going back to my regular charter companies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for taking the time to raise the issue of our team's insistence on passenger and baggage weight.  I share in the blame as I am a pilot (I fly a Pilatus PC12 and Beechcraft Bonanza for my family).  Understanding the performance limitations of an older King Air, the relatively short runway of 5000' at Wildwood and warm summer temperatures, we like to air on the side of caution.  Please know that I have developed processes at Stratos to ensure that every flight we organize is arranged exactly as I would for my own family's travels.  Safety First.
I hope that while these requests were a bit cumbersome, you see that it was done with the best intentions for the safety of your flight and I certainly hope that going forward, Stratos can earn the opportunity to serve you based on our commitment to excellence rather than a cost comparison.

Joel and Stratos are amazing! He made sure our flight was tailored perfectly and was very responsive and always available for contact. They catered specifically to our needs with late notice. The pilots were fantastic and patient, especially considering we had three animals and arrived 10 minutes before take-off. They provided the smoothest flight in the Hawker we’ve ever taken. Stratos offered transportation to and from; the boarding process was welcoming and convenient. We will only fly privately with Stratos Jets through Joel and his team. Thank you guys for everything!

Glenn and his team at Stratos were amazing. Unfortunately, the operator provided last minute communication of a delay that caused problems on the arriving end of the flight. The operator was aware of the delay the night before and failed to inform Glenn (and in turn, me). The drive from the San Jose, CR airport to my final destination was incredibly dangerous due to my having to drive at night. The stress of travel was significant to begin with. The poor communication and the delay into the final destination caused another whole level of stress which is understood when you travel commercially, but not when you spend $17K on a private jet charter.
