Located 25 miles east of San Francisco, 14 miles south of Oakland, and 28 miles north of San Jose and Silicon Valley, Hayward is a city located in the East Bay in Alameda County, and is home to California State University East Bay campus. Destroyed by an earthquake in 1868, Hayward has since grown to become the sixth largest city in the San Francisco Bay area and the third largest city in Alameda County, after Oakland and Fremont. Connected to San Francisco by the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge, Hayward’s economy is based around manufacturing and technology. It is home to the Shasta soft drink company as well as Annabelle Candy, Gillig bus corporation and Impax Laboratories. Hayward charter flights take you just 10 miles south of the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum, otherwise known as the O.co Coliseum, where the Oakland Athletics, or the A’s, have batted to win nine World Series. Everything was great. Prompt and clear comms about flight / craft options. Kept us informed about key status. Nice account website and live-links for details. And, just friendly and pleasant people to work with. One big thing was that our original operator's plane cancelled due to mechanical the day before our departure. We know that happens sometimes and not Stratos' fault. What was great was how quickly the Stratos team got us viable alternatives. Within probably an hour we had an alternate operator confirmed. We were very pleased how well Stratos reacted. And, the replacement craft and crew were top-notch as well.
