The Santa Ynez Valley consists of six small communities in Santa Barbara County, California. Of those five communities is its namesake, Santa Ynez, which is an old spelling of Santa Inés which is Spanish for Saint Agnes. Many of the communities in California today started off as Franciscan missions. Prior to that, the land was home to the Chumash people. Some of the interesting history of these communities can be found carefully preserved at local museums. With its old western building façades, this town of 4,418 may have you double-checking your calendars though. The Santa Ynez Valley is beautifully situated in Santa Barbara County which is famous for its world class wineries. The climate is warm but, not too hot. Average summer temperatures reach up to 93 degrees Fahrenheit and winter temperatures reach lows of 39 degrees.

I/we had never used a private charter previously. Compared to flying commercial, this was a stress free walk in the park. Danny Morejon was responsive and reliable, making sure that all of the parts were in the right place. I do have some significant complaints about side services (catering and car rental) but, may be out of Stratos control. Other than that, the flying experience and coordination were wonderful.

Good morning, Joel. I have been in the customer service business for 30 years as a realtor and previously customer service manager for a performing arts hall. I am very critical when it comes to customer service as so many companies who pride themselves being excellent fall short. I feel when it excels, it should be pointed out to their superior.
Falling short is certainly not the case with Kyle Jones and Leslie Jackson. This is my first experience with chartering a private plane. My 94 year old father and 92 year old mother are going to their favorite place in the world, the Beau Rivage hotel in Biloxi MS at Christmas time. A charter flight works so much better than the hassle of traveling commercial today.
Kyle was on top of everything for me and when I would send him a question via email the response was rapid fire. The same goes for Leslie. I don’t think it was more than 5 minutes before a response came back. Their friendliness, professionalism and knowledge is above par and you are extremely lucky to have them on the Stratos team.
My father insists he will be going again next year and I hope he is correct. I will contact Stratos for their traveling needs and hopefully work with both the wonderful Kyle and Leslie again.

Our commercial flight was being delayed out of Asheville and there were no other flights that day or the next day. Finally at 8 o’clock at night we called Simon to see if he could come and pick us up. By 1030 we were on the plane and on our way home. It was amazing. Simon is, incredibly efficient and thoughtful. Pilot did a terrible job of synchronizing the engines. It was bad enough at one point that the two guest passengers were worried we would need an emergency landing. I have flown on Hawkers for 15 years now and never had that experience. Crew was very nice, but the pilot needs some instruction. It was very disconcerting.

Eastern Air Services (crew and plane) were wonderful. Stratos micro obsession with baggage and weights was beyond logical and anything that I had ever experienced in prior charters. Turned out there was PLENTY of room in cargo for additional baggage and that my guests were no where near any weight limitation. The only reason I tolerated the craziness was the price differential. Next time, if they are not the best price I am going back to my regular charter companies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
